Managing indicators in MetaTrader 4 (MT4) is fairly easy. You may change the parameters of an indicator or remove it from the chart. The following tutorial shows typical steps that you may take to do this job.
Let's assume that you have attached a Moving Average and an RSI indicator to a EUR/USD chart (see image). To manage any of these indicators use the following steps.
Open the list of indicators: To open the list of indicators press Ctrl+I (see image). You may alternatively right-click in the chart area and select "Indicators List" from the context menu. Another method is to select "Indicators List" from "Charts" menu.
Select and Manage Indicator: Select an indicator from the list. Click "Delete" to remove the indicator from the chart. Click "Edit" to edit the settings of the indicator (see image). The parameters and other settings depend on the indicator you choose. When you are done, click OK to close the dialog box.
An alternative method to access this dialog box is to hover you mouse over the indicator's line and then right-click. A menu appears which gives you the option to delete or manage the indicator (see image).
